Major Bank, a global financial institution with operations in major financial centers worldwide, needed a more efficient legal entity reporting (LER) function across internal, external, and regulatory reporting. The bank relied on Genpact to help reduce manual work, improve data quality, and standardize processes so its skilled staff could spend less time on repetitive reporting tasks and more time on analysis.

Genpact reimagined the LER function by assessing, simplifying, and clustering processes, then implementing RPA bots for data extraction, reconciliation, enrichment, exception handling, and uploading to reporting tools. The result was 61 bots, up to 60% automation of manual tasks, cycle times up to 75% faster, over 90% fewer data-quality-related exceptions, and a 30% increase in FTE capacity, while also improving controls, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
