Stage Stores, a national retail chain with 800 stores, wanted to leverage the back-to-school season to engage target shoppers, drive sales, build brand loyalty, and capture communication preferences so future messaging would be more relevant.
Using Genesys Cloud, Stage Stores ran the “Gotta Get Soul” sweepstakes with the U.S. Polo Association, prompting shoppers to text USPA to 38228 and opt in with channel and offer preferences via SMS and mobile web. The campaign averaged nearly 2,000 entries per day over five weeks, with 39% of participants opting into future mobile alerts and only 0.1% subsequently opting out, giving Stage Stores a compliant, high-engagement mobile channel to reach its best customers.
