Webflow’s Engineering Leadership Makes Recruiting a Team Sport with Gem

Webflow, the fast-growing no-code website platform (400+ employees) that raised a $140M Series B as it doubled its customer base, needed to scale engineering quickly but didn’t yet have a dedicated sourcing team. Recruiters were managing heavy inbound volumes while engineering leaders were expected to augment sourcing, so Webflow required a collaborative single source of truth to coordinate outreach, avoid duplicate touchpoints, and speed hiring—so they expanded use of the Gem recruiting platform.

Using Gem, Webflow onboarded engineering managers to source candidates, send pre-built sequences, and run low-effort outreach experiments; recruiters leverage Gem features like the Chrome extension, send-on-behalf-of (SOBO), Talent Pipeline, Pipeline Analytics, and Executive Dashboards.
