A Gem Case Study
Terminal, the world’s first tech‑enabled remote teams engine, needed a way to scale candidate outreach without losing personalization and to centralize vetted talent. Global Director of Talent Acquisition Kerri McKinney introduced Gem, using Gem’s sequence, follow‑up and search/project features to pilot personalized automated messaging and a shared talent project for faster sourc ing.
Gem enabled Terminal to “set-and-forget” sequenced outreach (using Gem’s recommended cadence and link-tracking) and build a vetted candidate pipeline. As a result response rates rose from 31% in April to 41% in August (about a 10‑point increase), the team saved sourcing time, improved follow‑up consistency, and started sourcing directly from Gem projects for faster hires.
