Procore Technologies, a global construction management software company with 2,500+ employees, faced fragmented hiring data and duplicated outreach across its ATS, LinkedIn, email and other tools. Sourcing Leader Maisha Cannon was spending hours manually tracking contacts and outreach—copying names into spreadsheets and cross-referencing many systems—so Procore engaged vendor Gem and its Candidate Relationship Management product, Gem CRM, to solve the problem.

Gem implemented Gem CRM to centralize emails, ATS records, LinkedIn/GitHub touches and sourcing notes into a single source of truth, automating follow-ups, showing last-contact dates, and enforcing rules of engagement to prevent duplicate outreach. As a result, Procore removed workflow inefficiencies, improved the candidate experience, consolidated applicants and passive talent into one platform, and enabled the team to measure and manage pre-interview sourcing activity—letting Cannon sustain high-volume outreach without stepping on teammates’ efforts.
