Chili Piper Brings an Operational Lens to Improve Diversity, Speed, and Quality of Hire

Chili Piper, the fully remote inbound conversion platform with 200+ employees (ATS: Greenhouse), needed better visibility into diversity and hiring forecasts as it scaled. Relying on native ATS reports left gaps across the funnel and limited configurability, so Chili Piper adopted Gem’s Talent Compass (including Pipeline Analytics and the Forecast Calculator) to get predictive, configurable insights and surface DEI risks in real time.

With Gem, Chili Piper used Pipeline Analytics to spot disproportionate drop-offs, moved and redesigned an SDR assessment and reinstated a video submission, and built Forecast Calculators and executive dashboards to plan capacity and track KPIs. As a result of Gem’s insights and changes, Chili Piper saw a 54% increase in candidates from underrepresented groups and a 31% increase in female-identified candidates advancing to first-round interviews, plus increases in offers extended to and accepted by URGs — delivering more equitable, faster, and better-informed hiring.
