PT Bank Mandiri, Indonesia’s largest bank, needed to protect its expanding range of credit products from fictitious loan applications and application fraud. To strengthen its credit distribution process, PT Bank Mandiri implemented GBG Instinct in 2012 to detect and flag fraudulent applications by bad actors.
GBG Instinct was continuously developed and migrated from desktop to web-based delivery, improving accessibility, simplifying implementation and backed by strong technical support. As a result, GBG helped PT Bank Mandiri safeguard against loan application fraud across credit cards, micro, KTA and SME products, streamlining the application process and maintaining effective fraud detection as the bank and its product range grew.
