The telecommunications company T-Mobile faced significant technical debt in its two separate apps, Kaktus and Mobil.cz. Instead of applying patches, the vendor Futured proposed a complete rebuild to create a modern, scalable solution that balanced a shared technical foundation with distinct brand identities for each app.

Futured built both apps on a single, shared core using Kotlin Multiplatform, which allowed for a unified codebase while maintaining unique interfaces for each brand. This modular approach significantly cut T-Mobile’s development and maintenance costs, enabled faster feature rollouts, and created a future-ready system for adding new applications.
