Go Pollock Gets New Users to Demo Their Product

Go Pollock is a classroom-engagement tool that lets teachers run live, device-based quizzes so every student can participate and track understanding. Their challenge was getting time-pressed K–12 educators to complete the product demo: the original “Library” demo setup confused users and many bounced before experiencing the core value.

By watching FullStory session replays the team pinpointed friction and made targeted fixes—trimmed intro copy, added a tooltip, highlighted question-selection boxes, pre-selected demo questions to activate “Start Session,” and offered an unregistered demo. The result: conversion to the next page jumped from 45% to 70% immediately, and the company now uses session replays for ongoing UX improvements, personas, and debugging.
