Spring Grove Area School District, a rural district in south central Pennsylvania, needed to become a “destination district” for teachers but found its HR team reliant on spreadsheets, error-prone tracking, and slow, paper-based onboarding. Frontline Education implemented Frontline HRMS along with Frontline Central, Absence Management and Professional Growth to centralize applicant tracking, automate onboarding, and give staff a single Frontline ID for benefits, leave and training. The result: new hires have access on day one, paperwork that once took a week now takes minutes, substitute fill rates exceed 80%, intention surveys and reporting are automated, and the district is attracting and retaining stronger candidates—helping Spring Grove become the welcoming, efficient employer it aspired to be.
