A Frontline Education Case Study
Alvin Independent School District, a rapidly growing district near Houston with enrollment of 23,466 and annual increases of more than 1,000 students, struggled to manage paper-based special education, ELL, 504 and RTI records and maintain compliance. To solve that challenge, Alvin ISD selected Frontline Education and its Frontline Special Ed & Interventions suite (including IEP & Special Education Management, ELL and 504 Program Management) to replace disparate paper systems with a unified electronic solution.
Frontline Education implemented a paperless, centralized records system that brought historic assessments and evaluations online and integrated demographics from the student information system. The change cut document search time from as long as an hour to minutes, reduced interschool record transfers from up to 30 days to minutes, improved compliance accuracy and staff efficiency, enabled faster notifications and supports, and delivered reliable uptime and responsive vendor support.
