Randstad Australia, the HR services and recruitment provider, was struggling to manage a growing volume of employee queries through shared inboxes, which had become untenable as the team expanded and remote work made visibility even harder. To address this challenge, Randstad turned to Freshworks’ Freshservice to create a central HR service desk for handling requests from around 1,000 corporate employees and 14,000 contract workers.
Freshworks implemented Freshservice with automated HR workflows, flexible integrations, and custom portals to streamline new starter, employment change, and employee cessation processes. The platform also supported a COVID-19 help portal and taskforce, helped Randstad integrate existing tools like its contract-drafting bot, and improved consistency and efficiency across HR operations, reducing manual ticket handling and enabling the team to scale more effectively.
