Doctible, a California-based healthcare SaaS marketing and automation platform used by thousands of doctors, was struggling with a non-scalable phone setup: agents used deskphones while their helpdesk (Zoho) and CRM were not integrated, causing missed calls and chaotic workflows. To modernize their communications they adopted Freshworks’ Freshcaller alongside Freshdesk and Freshsales to move to a helpdesk/CRM-integrated cloud phone system.
Freshworks implemented Freshcaller (integrated with Freshdesk and Freshsales), enabling browser-based calling, mobile call forwarding, call queues, business‑hours routing, and call barging for live coaching. The solution freed sales and support reps from desks, cut down missed calls, simplified training and call routing, and provided a scalable, easy-to-configure phone system that improved Doctible’s operational flexibility and customer coverage.
