Chargebee is a PCI Level 1 certified recurring billing platform for subscription-based SaaS and eCommerce businesses, headquartered in India. Needing to better manage its DevOps environment and meet stringent PCI compliance standards, Chargebee faced scattered processes—relying on email, lacking visibility into incidents and CSAT, poor accountability and unreliable tracking—which hampered operations and service delivery.
Chargebee selected Freshservice for its AWS integration and ITSM capabilities, then rebuilt processes end-to-end: onboarding, incident, change and release management, approvals and automation. The Scheduler and Change Management features automated compliance scans and enforced controlled production changes, delivering real-time operational data, saving man-hours and moving the team from constant firefighting to a disciplined, trackable service model.
