On Deck Concepts, the multi-brand operator behind BoomerJack’s, Bedford Ice House and Sidecar Social, needed to unify training and communications across 14 locations and three distinct brands. Director of Training Tawny Daguio selected FranConnect’s World Manager (implemented internally as On Deck University) to deliver a mobile-first, brand-customized learning and communications platform that could standardize training, sign-offs and updates for frontline teams.
FranConnect implemented World Manager modules—customizable mobile dashboards, Training & Development authoring, Sign-offs, social profiles and a centralized communications hub—creating a single “one-stop” platform for all brands. The rollout drove higher employee engagement and adoption, improved Manager‑in‑Training readiness, reduced front-line turnover, and gave leaders actionable training-to-performance reporting tied to store KPIs; On Deck continues to expand the platform’s use across operations.
