How Franchisee Engagement and Technology Adoption Lead to Better Performance

Franworth, a franchise-focused growth equity firm overseeing brands such as The Lash Lounge, CITYROW, Madison Reed Color Bar and skoah, wanted to test whether greater franchisor technology adoption and stronger franchisee engagement would drive better unit-level performance. To run the experiment Franworth partnered with FranConnect and used FranConnect’s Operations Suite to build a proof of concept focused on the skoah franchise.

Using FranConnect’s Operations Suite and a real-time dashboard, Franworth tracked franchisee engagement with webinars and centralized content and compared adopters to non-adopters. The study found franchisees who completed 90% of the training webinars experienced an immediate, near-certain revenue uplift, showing that FranConnect’s scalable solution improves training compliance and boosts unit performance without a large tech or in-house IT investment.
