A Fourth Case Study
InterContinental Toronto Centre, a 400+ room hotel, used the COVID-19 slowdown to reassess its procurement and inventory workflows. Although the property had used Fourth’s Adaco solution since 2004, the finance team realized it lacked the processes to fully adopt new mobile features and analytics, and needed a plan to align operations with the platform’s capabilities.
Working with Fourth’s Solution Consulting and Customer Success teams, the hotel implemented a consultative rollout with training and change management to embed Adaco’s mobile-enabled procurement, inventory, recipe and menu tools into restructured processes. The result was faster, more efficient daily operations, better visibility of costs and expenses for accrual accounting, and a more prepared, productive team that now leverages the platform across departments.
