Papa Murphy’s, a quick serve restaurant, wanted to drive incremental visits and reach new customers through media campaigns. To better understand which efforts were truly influencing store traffic, the brand worked with its agency, Barkley, and vendor Foursquare, using Foursquare’s Attribution measurement solution to evaluate visit lift and new-customer performance.
Foursquare analyzed the campaign’s impact and showed strong results, including a 2.11% conversion rate and a $0.68 cost per store visit. Customers who had not visited Papa Murphy’s in the prior 12 months made up 67% of campaign reach, and 27% of exposed visitors were new customers; this group delivered a 27% lift in visits after ad exposure, helping Foursquare prove the media was driving incremental footfall.
