BAE Systems, the aerospace and security company, wanted a better way to understand the experience of new starters across a geographically diverse workforce. Working with Forsta, they needed a flexible, scalable engagement survey approach that could capture both online and offline feedback during onboarding and early employment.
Forsta implemented a multi-channel survey program that included onboarding surveys, a 30-day new hire survey, a 180-day survey, and a one-year quality-of-hire survey for managers. The results, especially from the 180-day survey, revealed that many new hires needed more support from their managers, leading BAE Systems to rethink manager selection and make people-management training more hands-on and supportive.
