A Forsta Case Study
BMG Research, a UK-based public and social sector market research firm, needed to speed up delivery and make findings easy to publish online. With reporting previously taking one to two weeks and specialists spending excessive time on ad hoc data queries, BMG sought a solution to meet client demand for rapid turnaround (results within 24 hours), reduce manual work, and enable controlled public publishing. Forsta (using Forsta Visualizations) was identified as the vendor and product to address these challenges.
Forsta implemented Forsta Visualizations to automate data ingestion, populate reports via its StoryCreator environment, and publish results or export to PowerPoint, while giving clients direct access to run queries. The change cut report delivery to 24 hours (down from 1–2 weeks), made teams roughly 3x more productive, reduced overtime, turned projects that once took five to six days into one-day turnarounds at about a third of the effort, and largely eliminated time spent on routine ad hoc queries—freeing BMG Research to engage clients at a more consultative level.
