Building an information super-highway for Transport Focus

Transport Focus, the UK independent watchdog for transport passengers and road users, was struggling with surveys across five modes of transport run by different research agencies in different formats, which made it hard for the public and stakeholders to access and interrogate research data. To unify those disparate datasets and create a single public-facing data hub, Transport Focus chose Forsta and its Forsta Visualizations product.

Forsta implemented Forsta Visualizations as a centralized, no-login public portal with richer visualization options, self-service crosstabs, automated email alerts, secure sharing and PowerPoint automation. The result for Transport Focus: dramatically faster analysis (lightning-fast crosstabs), reduced reliance on agency-specific systems, improved transparency for journalists and the public, and concrete efficiency gains — including generating 100 tailored stakeholder decks of about 80 slides each — all delivered by Forsta.
