British Gas, the UK’s largest energy supplier, needed to replace DoubleClick after Google removed User IDs from Data Transfer files, which threatened its ability to independently audit, analyze, and measure digital campaigns. The company was looking for an independent ad serving and multi-touch attribution solution to preserve data transparency, control, and interoperability.

British Gas selected Flashtalking as its primary ad server and multi-touch attribution platform, with support from MediaCom, and completed the migration in just two weeks with no data loss. With Flashtalking, British Gas improved attribution and reallocated spend more effectively, driving 42% more efficient CPA for its CHC display campaign, 34% more efficient CPA for HI display, and increases in attributed conversions of 140% for CHC and 191% for HI; search also saw 20% more conversions for CHC and 17% more for HI.
