A Fivetran Case Study
JetBlue, the North American airline operating more than 900 flights a day, needed a better way to tame the huge volumes of data generated across its business, from customer feedback and operational systems to aircraft maintenance records. Before using Fivetran, data was spread across many sources and hard to access quickly enough for real-time decision-making.
JetBlue implemented Fivetran with Snowflake on Microsoft Azure to centralize data from SaaS tools and on-premise Oracle systems, using connectors and log-based change data capture to move information into its modern data stack. With Fivetran, JetBlue can set up pipelines in under two minutes, has unified data from 130 systems into more than 115TB in Snowflake, and has enabled self-service analytics that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and predictive maintenance planning.
