Secure Managed Services from Fiserv enable Forcht Bank to access advanced technology and strengthened cybersecurity

Forcht Bank, a community bank serving Kentucky and Ohio, sought to strengthen its cybersecurity posture while reducing costs and internal complexity. The bank engaged Fiserv to manage a cloud-based, hybrid Azure security platform (leveraging Microsoft Defender and Azure Sentinel) and partnered with BlueVoyant for 24/7 managed SOC services to achieve capabilities comparable to larger institutions.

Fiserv delivered a managed-services solution—migrating infrastructure to Azure, integrating Splunk/Azure Sentinel SIEM, MFA, PAM, email defense, patching, backups and a 24/7 SOC—allowing Forcht Bank to reduce its IT team to a five-person governance core, realize vendor and staffing cost savings, and move vulnerability management from the 50th to the 95th percentile per Fiserv’s assessment; the managed SOC went live in Q3 2021 and the project completed in Q4 2021.
