To address unbanked or underbanked renters’ needs and reduce the burden on office staff, RealPage partnered with Fiserv to deploy CheckFreePay for retail cash payment acceptance.

Fiserv’s CheckFreePay enables renters to pay in cash at retail locations such as Walmart and Kroger nearly around the clock, removing onsite cash-handling risks and lowering operating costs for property managers. As a result, roughly 70% of RealPage cash payments are now made through retail CheckFreePay agents, cash payments grew 82% year-over-year, and RealPage cash payments are handled exclusively by Fiserv—improving convenience for renters and reducing staff workload.
