Bank Zachodni WBK, Poland’s third-largest bank and part of the Santander Group, faced a fragmented fee and account-services landscape that confused customers and made it hard to see a full 360° view of client relationships. To deliver simpler, more personalized products and fees, BZ WBK partnered with Fiserv to centralize product- and fee-based services using a new pricing and billing (PB) module integrated with the Signature® account processing platform.
Fiserv built and implemented the PB module over 12 months, aggregating customer demographics and transactional behaviour into a single system that enabled faster launch of personalized loyalty programs, simplified account packages, and easier fee management. As a result—thanks to Fiserv—BZ WBK centralized all product- and fee-based services, streamlined billing and calculations, achieved a 63% Net Performance Score for migrations, and realized an 8–10% reduction in the cost of acquiring new funds from increased deposits.
