Peoples Trust Company Rewards Cardholders for Daily Purchases, Boosting Card Usage and Satisfaction

Peoples Trust Company, a locally owned Vermont bank, needed to match the card services offered by larger regional and national competitors to retain and grow card usage in its market. To address this, Peoples Trust partnered with Fiserv and deployed the uChoose Rewards loyalty program alongside its existing Fiserv Premier banking platform, Integrated Teller, and debit card processing services.

Fiserv’s uChoose Rewards lets Peoples Trust reward debit cardholders (7,500 enrolled) at one point per $2 spent, driving measurable engagement: cardholders use their cards an average of 28 times per month versus the industry average of 21, boosting interchange revenue and customer satisfaction and earning positive social media feedback. Fiserv also provides marketing resources and new features such as “pay-with-points,” and Peoples Trust reports higher-than-average usage and ongoing plans to expand enrollment and add complementary Fiserv credit card services.
