NBT Bank Customer-Focused Community Bank Receives Inaugural Award

NBT Bank, a community-focused bank based in Norwich, NY with more than 150 locations, aimed to deepen cardholder relationships, increase card activation and usage, and grow its card portfolio. To meet these goals, NBT Bank partnered with Fiserv and implemented Fiserv’s CardVision solution for analytics, campaign resources and targeted marketing support.

Fiserv delivered CardVision alongside consulting services, proprietary marketing campaigns, robust analytics and a dedicated portfolio consultant, helping NBT Bank identify opportunities and execute targeted campaigns. The results included 15–17% response to activation campaigns, a 3.5% lift in activation rates, an 8% increase in active cards, 7–8% response to usage campaigns, 15% transaction growth from power users and 200,000 additional transactions year over year, earning NBT Bank Fiserv’s inaugural Cardholder Engagement Award.
