Sub-Saharan African Bank, a major regional bank with over $20 billion in combined assets, was looking to maximize top-line revenue and reduce revenue leakage. Although the bank typically relied on internal teams, it engaged Fiserv and its Performance Acceleration Services to develop a revenue growth strategy and unlock new income streams.
Fiserv implemented a multi-phased Performance Acceleration Services approach—discovery, business case and implementation—focusing on stemming revenue leakage, optimising existing revenues and creating new products. Over a 13‑year engagement Fiserv executed 21 initiatives that delivered more than $130 million in incremental (annually recurring) revenue (about $130.4M), including $110.3M from consumer retail; results included ~$27.1M from leakage remediation, ~$58.9M from optimisation and ~$44.4M from new products.
