Veridian Credit Union sought to streamline and modernize how members report travel for debit and credit card use—replacing a slow, manual process (online forms, branch visits or calls that could take 1–4 hours to process) with real‑time updates. To do this, Veridian turned to Fiserv and its Card Developer: API platform to build a digital solution that integrates with online and mobile banking.
Using Fiserv’s Card Developer: API, Veridian implemented a Travel API and staff dashboard that apply travel exemptions immediately across eligible cards, eliminate double‑keying, and reduce back‑office work. The change delivered measurable impact—6,867 member updates processed in a 60‑day period—while speeding responses, cutting follow‑ups, and improving both member and staff experience. Fiserv continues to partner with Veridian as they expand API-driven digital services.
