UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, which serves a tech-savvy membership across the Five College Consortium and multiple UMass campuses, needed a modern, tightly integrated digital banking platform with single sign-on and close integration to its Portico account processing system. To meet that challenge the credit union chose Fiserv, deploying Corillian Online® as the backbone of its digital strategy along with Mobiliti™, and complementary Fiserv solutions for bill pay, P2P and personal financial management.

Fiserv implemented the ASP versions of Corillian Online and Mobiliti plus CheckFree RXP®, Popmoney® and AllData®, all fully integrated with Portico; two months after launch online banking penetration rose from 39% to 42% and Mobiliti adoption among online bankers increased from 43% to 48%. Members quickly adopted bill pay (32% of online bankers), Popmoney (16%) and AllData (22%), while features like mobile deposit, self-service options and new fee-based expedited payments boosted convenience, operational efficiency and revenue — outcomes delivered through a smooth implementation and strong project management from Fiserv.
