Arcadia Fire Department - Customer Case Study

The Arcadia Fire Department needed to better prepare for and respond to major wildfires. Their challenge was a lack of consolidated, real-time information, which made it difficult to track a fire's progression and identify vulnerable residents for evacuation. To address this, they turned to the vendor First Due.

First Due's solution integrated critical data, including real-time fire perimeter maps and a list of vulnerable residents from its Community Connect feature, into a single platform. This provided all responding agencies with a common operational picture. As a result, during the 2020 Bobcat Fire, the department could quickly brief field personnel and city officials, leading to more informed decisions on resource placement and evacuations to ensure resident safety.
