Victorian WorkCover Authority, the manager of Victoria’s workplace safety system, is responsible for enforcing occupational health and safety laws and providing affordable workplace injury insurance and lifelong benefits to injured workers. To handle the complexity and volume of claims and ongoing benefit administration, the Victorian WorkCover Authority began using FINEOS in 2007 as its core claims and case management platform.

Partnering with FINEOS has enabled the Authority to scale operations and improve case handling: today more than 2,500 users use the FINEOS platform to manage over 400 claims and 200 cases per week. FINEOS’s solution has supported sustained operational capacity, long-term system stability and effective administration of public workers’ compensation in Victoria.
