The Manitoba Teachers' Society - Customer Case Study

The Manitoba Teachers' Society (MTS) needed to modernize and streamline its claims operations—improving claims processing, e-files, medical coding, invoice tracking, reporting reliability and case coverage—while moving to a supported platform with a clear roadmap. To meet those goals MTS selected FINEOS and implemented FINEOS 7.5 for claims and payments.

MTS used FINEOS’s base product with targeted configuration, FINEOS Corporate University training, product documentation, business content, a sandpit environment and allocated FINEOS services support, keeping customizations minimal (e.g., summer salary rules). The result was a successful go-live in under nine months, measurable efficiencies in claims processing and reporting, and recognition with the FINEOS Innovation and Excellence award; MTS is now pursuing additional FINEOS training to increase self-sufficiency.
