Principal Financial Group is a leading global financial services company headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. To manage complex disability and life insurance claims across its business lines, Principal has partnered with FINEOS since 2005, initially using FINEOS to handle individual disability insurance (DI) claims and later facing the need to scale and standardize claims and payments workflows for group DI and group life products.
FINEOS implemented its claims management solution for Principal, supporting individual DI from 2005 and extending to group DI and group life claims and payments in 2008. The FINEOS platform now supports approximately 600 live users at Principal, enabling consolidated, scalable claims processing across the organization and broadening FINEOS coverage across Principal’s individual and group insurance lines.
