Dearborn National, a leading group life insurer that has managed its Group Life and Waiver claims on the FINEOS platform since 2009, completed a major upgrade to address the need for current line-of-business content, improved product functionality, and more efficient claims processing through a modern user interface and expanded digital capabilities. The customer sought to ensure its claims operations could leverage the latest features and remain current with industry functionality.

FINEOS implemented the upgrade to FINEOS Version 8, delivering a new UI and access to additional components including the FINEOS Digital Platform for Analytics, Business Analyser, Web Self Service and Mobile. The project enabled Dearborn National to streamline claims handling, carried out a benefit realization analysis to maximize return on investment, and positioned the insurer to take advantage of future FINEOS updates and measurable operational improvements.
