Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) - Customer Case Study

The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) administers New Zealand’s national accident compensation scheme—responsible for preventing injury, collecting levies, determining cover, paying compensation, buying health and rehabilitation services and advising the government. ACC needed to replace a legacy claims system to become more claimant‑centric and support future business improvements, and selected FINEOS and its FINEOS Claims solution to meet this challenge.

FINEOS implemented FINEOS Claims in what became one of New Zealand’s largest public‑sector IT projects, going live in 2006. Today FINEOS Claims enables ACC to administer over 2 million claims annually from 48 locations across the country, delivering a more claimant‑focused service and positioning ACC for ongoing business improvements.
