FICO Optimization Software to Evolve Plant Processing at Shell

Working with FICO, Shell built the Platform for Advanced Control and Estimation (PACE) using the FICO Xpress Optimization Suite; high‑performance solvers and collaborative model development deliver real‑time, optimal action recommendations through a customizable user interface. The result is the ability to solve much more complex problems with greater reliability and operator control, improving decision accuracy, plant stability and overall economic performance.
