Procter & Gamble, a global leader in fast-moving consumer goods, faced a growing challenge: increasingly frequent product introductions, updates and phaseouts made changeover planning complex across multiple sites, shared materials and supplier constraints. The company relied on time-consuming, manual analysis by hundreds of planners and needed a way to represent those constraints mathematically and scale data-driven decision making across the business.

Co-developing a solution with FICO, P&G deployed FICO Xpress Solver and FICO Xpress Insight to automate data pipelines, operationalize optimization, and put decision intelligence into the hands of 300+ business users. The result: full elimination of manual ETL, >90% increase in analytic efficiency, synchronized downstream systems, weekly analysis time reduced from hours to under five minutes, tens of millions of dollars saved annually, and significantly reduced waste with improved on‑shelf availability.
