A top regional, member-focused credit union with about 450,000 members needed to modernize its new-member acquisition and credit card prescreen efforts. Their existing process relied on multiple vendors, produced impersonal offers, and struggled to identify and target the right prospects—problems made worse by COVID-related uncertainty and the risk of extending offers that would later be declined.
They implemented Equifax and FICO’s Data Decisions PrescreenCentral™, an end-to-end, automated prescreen solution that combines nearly 100 Equifax credit attributes with FICO decisioning. The credit union gained centralized data, risk‑aware targeting, champion/challenger testing, and no-minimum-fee monthly campaigns—resulting in more personalized offers, higher ROI, faster and more frequent campaigns, and a roadmap to expand into HELOC and auto loan acquisition.
