A Facebook Case Study
Coolpad, a China‑based smartphone brand, launched the Note 5 in India and aimed to reach tech‑savvy young customers to build awareness and drive website conversions. The challenge was to guide potential buyers through the awareness, consideration and purchase stages to increase online sales.
Working with reseller MeetSocial, Coolpad ran a three‑phase Facebook campaign—image teasers, video showcases, carousel ads and immersive Canvas units with a “Shop Now” call-to-action—using reach-and-frequency targeting in the top 15 Indian cities to show ads about four times to likely buyers. The campaign generated 750,000 clicks to the ecommerce site and produced a 7‑point lift in ad recall, a 12‑point lift in brand favourability and a 3‑point lift in brand association.
