A Facebook Case Study
Wooga, the world’s third-largest social game developer and maker of Diamond Dash, set out to boost iOS installs and increase play on iPhones and iPads across the U.S., U.K., Germany and France. The challenge was to raise awareness and drive more mobile players to install and engage with the game.
Wooga used Log In with Facebook to simplify access and make gameplay more social, then ran targeted Facebook Ads in the mobile News Feed—using friend-activity triggers and action-spec targeting via partner Nanigans—to reach likely players. The campaigns drove install lifts of 26% in the U.S., 29% in Germany and 37% in France, achieved a 10% lower cost per install in the U.S. and France, and delivered record click-through rates in the U.S. and U.K.
