A Facebook Case Study
WaterAid, the international charity focused on safe water, sanitation and hygiene, wanted to raise awareness and drive donations for its “Deliver Life” campaign, its largest integrated campaign to date. Working with Facebook, WaterAid tested different advertising formats and targeting options to reach a broad UK audience and encourage visits to the campaign microsite.
Facebook helped WaterAid implement a mass engagement strategy using ads, video, carousel, Instagram ads, lookalike audiences and retargeting. The campaign reached 4.5 million mothers and women in the UK, drove 144,000 microsite visits, and raised £4 million during the campaign period, with that amount matched by the UK government.
