Velasca is a Milan-based men’s shoemaker founded in 2012 that sells handmade, premium Italian footwear through its online store. As a fast-growing online fashion brand, its challenge was to scale up—raising brand presence in Italy and abroad and driving both online sales and foot traffic to a newly opened Milan store.
Velasca made Facebook the core of its marketing (65% of online spend), using lookalike audiences, the Facebook pixel for retargeting, and carousel, video and link ads across desktop and mobile feeds to recruit and convert customers. The campaign delivered strong returns: 30% of revenue came from Facebook traffic, 33,000 new customer leads were acquired, and cost per action fell by 86%.
