VakantieVeilingen.nl, Emesa’s leading Dutch auction site for travel and leisure, faced a shift to a multi-screen, mobile-first audience and needed to drive app downloads while keeping acquisition costs sustainable. With the majority of visitors on mobile, the company set out to ramp up app usage and convert CRM insights into mobile customers.
They used Facebook Ads with Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences to target CRM segments and find similar prospects, running data-driven mobile install campaigns. The approach delivered strong results: 10x return on investment, over a 2x increase in mobile transactions, more than 50% of revenue now from mobile apps, and a 1.5x lower cost per install versus other platforms.
