Unitymedia, one of Germany’s largest internet, telephone and cable providers serving over 12 million homes, relied on its network of local stores as a core sales and service channel. Faced with the challenge of boosting local awareness and driving more in‑store traffic, the company needed a way to deliver highly relevant messages to nearby customers at scale.
Unitymedia ran Facebook local awareness ads that dynamically created location‑specific creatives and used a single optimized ad set to deliver the nearest‑store CTA to targeted users. Over a six‑week campaign the ads reached 83% of people within 50 metres and 77% within 150 metres of stores, helping the brand connect with local customers and drive more in‑store visits.
