Twimler is a UK-based mobile game developer (founded 2012) that creates casual, social games for broad audiences. To accelerate growth it needed to identify the highest-value players—those who play and keep playing—and find more users with the same retention and spending profiles.
By implementing the Facebook SDK to track in‑game events, adding the Share Dialog, and building Custom Audiences and lookalike audiences, Twimler targeted desktop and mobile ads at players who resembled its best users. The campaign added 300,000 daily users in two months (growing from 500,000 to 800,000), delivered players who retain 30% longer, and produced over a 70% increase in sales and a 60%+ rise in ad revenue.
