A Facebook Case Study
TUI Nordics, part of the world’s largest leisure travel company, needed to sell more than half of its winter 2015/16 inventory during Q3 2015 and to stand out from competing travel brands. The challenge was to inspire Nordic travelers and drive bookings by proving TUI had the best range of destinations and pools.
TUI partnered with Carat and Facebook to run “Welcome to the world of pools,” adapting a TV commercial into News Feed video and combining video, carousel and link ads with reach & frequency, Lookalike and Custom Audiences. The three-month campaign delivered a 55X return on ad spend across the Nordics (89X in Sweden), reached 5.5 million people, generated 3.3 million video views and 235,000 visits to tui.com.
