TOP MOT, launched in December 2015 as Vietnam’s first flash-sales website targeting women aged 25–40, needed to introduce its new brand and explain the flash-sales concept to a largely unfamiliar market. The challenge was to build awareness quickly and drive online sales for a mobile-first audience.
TOP MOT used Facebook video and carousel ads, Mobile News Feed placements, core targeting and Custom Audiences, and added a Shop section to make mobile purchases easy. Within six months the approach drove rapid growth: 40% month-on-month revenue growth, a 65% repurchase rate, and a 20% increase in items per checkout.
