Stunning Facebook video ads bring French fashion legend to a new generation

Lacoste, the iconic French fashion brand founded in 1933, wanted to relaunch its heritage-driven image and introduce new ambassador Novak Djokovic to a younger generation by debuting a new brand film, “Timeless,” and celebrating the arrival of their ambassador.

They produced a cinematic “Timeless” spot plus a short film announcing Djokovic as “The New Crocodile,” optimized for Facebook (square format, attention-grabbing visuals) and targeted fashion audiences in Paris, London, New York and Seoul. The campaign drove 14 million video views and delivered strong brand lift in France: a 16-point increase in ad recall, an 8-point rise in preference versus competitors, and a 7-point gain in affinity among 25–34-year-olds.
